Bucky Snyder, Mayor of Placerville, will begin with a presentation on the history of Placerville, held in the historic Masonic Hall. He will take guests to the Placerville Cemetery where his granddad is buried, tour the historic Placerville museum and, if available, take guests into an historic home. Depending on time and weather, Bucky will take you to his favorite gold-panning spot for a bit of panning–easy access for all ages.

Newly elected Mayor, Bucky Snyder, who has a long list of friends from Placerville and who has spent countless days there exploring the history of this mining town. To hear from Bucky is worth the trip because he has insights and stories like no one else.
