This 2:30pm presentation a repeat of the 1pm lecture and is designed for folks who enjoy rocks, minerals, fossils and petrified wood. Steve Schaps and mine owner, Larry Ridley, will begin with a discussion of the Willow Creek Jasper mine in Eagle. The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG) is planning field trips to the Willow Creek Jasper mine all summer, beginning in May.
Steve and Barb Beatty will talk about the Shoofly Oolites, the Bruneau Fossil Reef and the Bruneau Woodpile—all outstanding field trips offered by the IMMG in fall and winter. Lots of photos!
