Eliza Schulz will meet hikers at 7:45am within steps of the IMMG in the Old Pen dirt parking lot near the Ridge to Rivers trail sign. She will lead you up the hillside at a relaxed pace. At various points she will talk about the features of the hillside, the type of rocks, how the hills were formed, what produced the Treasure Valley below and more. The geo-hike is appropriate for children and adults who can walk/hike for up to 2 hours. Because of summer heat, the hike will end by 10:00am. Please read more detail in the link.
