Anderson Ranch Dam and Nearby Sites: Driving Tour

Join Dr. Terry Panhorst for a tour of some spectacular scenery and geology at the southern end of Boise National Forest. You’ll see granite, basalt, and rhyolite, plus learn interesting history of the dam construction and its builders. Meetup is at 8:45 AM in the Albertson’s Shopping Center parking lot near McDonald’s Restaurant, 6574 S Federal Way for a 9 AM departure. Trip is limited to 8 vehicles, so we’ll be carpooling. Periodic restroom stops along the route. Home between 4-5 PM. Nonmembers of the Museum $20 plus Eventbrite fee; Museum members and children free. Full refund if the Museum cancels the trip.
