DESCRIPTION:Join in us in panning for gold! The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG) 2455 Old Penitentiary Rd. will set up this event in the courtyard of the Women’s Ward at the Old Pen. This Panning experience is provided by the outstanding Nampa Gold Prospectors. $5 for Adult nonmembers of the IMMG\, $5 Kids\, Museum Members and their kids FREE. Everyone must register even if you don’t pan for gold. Every child takes home a spec of gold. \nWomen in Mining and Society for Mining\, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME) will be set up with cool stuff for kids! Plus\, kids get a free mineral inside the Museum.
