Original Post:

Don Dorman will lead a kid-friendly field trip on Saturday, June 24, to a
Grimes Creek claim to pan for gold. Please plan to meet at the Idaho Museum
of Mining and Geology, 2455 Old Penitentiary Rd. Boise 83712 at 7:30am for
an 8am departure. The group will reassemble in Idaho City at the Visitors
Center for a short break, then leave for the claim at 9am. Everyone must
pre-register at:

General-$20 plus Eventbrite fee, IMMG members-$10, kids are free. Please
contact operations@idahomuseum.org with questions.
