MUSEUM HOURS

Wednesdays: noon to 5 pm
Thursdays: noon to 5 pm
Fridays: noon to 5 pm
Saturdays: noon to 5 pm
Sundays: noon to 5 pm

DIRECTIONS TO THE MUSEUM

  • From downtown Boise, head East on Warm Springs Avenue.
  • Turn left on Old Penitentiary Road (the same road that leads to the Botanical Gardens).
  • Watch for a brown sign in the center median that reads “Parking” with a left-pointing arrow.
  • Turn left at this sign.
  • Follow the road around to the main parking lot in back of the houses & buildings.
  • Park and walk to the far end of the parking lot and up the dirt road into the main area.
  • You will see the entrance to the Old Penitentiary in front of you.
  • The IMMG is in the building to the left of the Old Pen.
