Field Trip: 
September 11 — Geology and Mineralization of the Atlanta Gold Project. The trip is led by local geologist Ed Fields. Please arrive at the museum located at 2455 Old Penitentiary Road no later than 7:45 AM for an 8:00 AM departure.  Higher clearance or AWD vehicles are recommended. Bring lunch and water. Dress for the weather. Cost is $10 for members, $15 for non-members, and $5 for kids. No reservations are needed. For more information, call 887-6888.
